Woodbridge
Fall Fair 2010- Woodbridge, ON
The
Hoof Beat Outriders Drill Team were very pleased to be entertaining
the audiences of the Woodbridge Fall Fair for the 2nd year in a
row! We had such a wonderful time and many great memories and friends
were made, yet once again! Wonderful venue and the organizing committee
is awesome and so helpful, we really appreciated all they did for
us! We are proud to have been invited back for next year 2011 and
we are excited to bring in even more fun!

This
video is a clip from our performance at the Royal Agricultural
Winter Fair in Toronto on November 10-16, 2008. The Ontario
Equestrian Federation "Spirit of the Horse" ring was very
small to work in (30x90), but we certainly went as fast as we safely
could!! We normally do this pattern at a canter. The really terrific
part is, our audience enjoyed our performance anyways and was Yahoo-ing
and clapping right along with us! We hope you enjoy watching it
as much as we did performing for it! It was so much fun!!

This
next video is a clip from the Orillia Santa Claus Parade 2008.
We had a great time performing for the parade. We had our vaulters,
Haley Knox and Bekka Krieger, performing as well. To top it all
off, we were shocked to learn that we won 2nd Place for the Best
Walking Group in the 2008 Parade! What a terrific way to end
a great year!

FinnFest
2009 - Sudbury, ON
On
our way to Sudbury, we had the 'deflating' experience of a flat
tire on our trailer! We were completely safe getting stopped and
all the horses were in great shape! We were on the side of the road
on Hwy 400 North, around the area of Horseshoe Lake (near Parry
Sound).
The
wonderful help from Alves Garage in Horseshoe Lake, picked up our
trailer to order and replace the tire and we had to get the horses
and girls off the highway safely...So, knowing our drill team horses
are so quiet in any situation, we rode them down the Hwy 400 for
an hour to Alves Garage. What a fun, memorable experience that doesn't
happen every day!! Yeehaw!!
We
were on the road to Sudbury again, within 2 hours! We didn't miss
our 1st performance that afternoon in Sudbury!
Here
is our team making the best out of any situation, again! What a
great team, with a positive, happy spirit!! We can't buy these kind
of memories!! LOL

We
had so much fun performing for the people of Sudbury at the FinnFest
2009! Some of our audience members sent us photos to include for
our website and we thank you!
These
photos were taken by Johnny Dunn of Sudbury ON, at the Civic Centre
(Sudbury City Hall)

These
photos were taken after one of our winter arena practices getting
ready for Can-Ams.
We have been practicing 4 times per week (sometimes in -30 weather...brrrr!!)
and we are a very committed team not only to ourselves and our horses,
but also to our team members as well. We
are dressed for the weather and keeping warm! We are having such
a wonderful time together and with all the regular practice, the
horses are getting in terrific condition for our performance coming
up.
The practices are already so much fun for our team, that the performances
will just be
the
'icing on the cake'!

Orillia
Fall Fair - 2008
It
was a beautiful day to be performing and we really enjoyed riding
for our audience!
These following photos were taken at our practice prior to performance
that day.
We didn't carry our flags in the practice and after seeing the photos,
we wish we had!

Heritage
Days - Oro Fairgrounds - 2008
We
had a great day performing to a select group of people
who braved the downpour of a rainy day!
The show must go on and we continued to perform throughout it all!
This was our very first performance as the Hoof Beat Outriders drill
team.
