This
is a list of our upcoming events that we will be performing in this
year. We are very excited to have these opportunities to entertain
and demonstrate at various events. It is a lot of fun for us to
be performing and it is great to have these wonderful venues to
be performing in. We hope that you will join us at our shows and
please feel free to come and visit us after a show to talk. We enjoy
showing our passion with horses and sharing our fun!

by popular demand, the Hoof Beat Outriders Drill Team has
been asked to return for the 2nd year in a row to entertain
for the residents of Drumbo and area!
Our
team really enjoyed ourselves during this event last year
and found the organizers and the audiences just so much fun
to perform for. We are excited to enjoy this wonderful venue
again this year!
Come
join us at the Drumbo Fall Fair and you can be an Outrider
too!

The
Hoof Beat Outriders are invited back for the 2nd year in a
row for the Woodbridge Fall Fair! What an honour to be so

Santa Claus Parade
- London, ON
The Hoof Beat Outriders will be performing and riding
for the London Santa Claus Parade! We are very honoured and
proud to have been invited back to participate for the 2nd
year in a row!
This
parade will be in the night time and draws crowds of 50,000
to 60,000 people along a stretch of streets 2.5 km in length.
Please
plan to watch the parade and welcome in the Christmas Season
with us to the people of London, Ontario!
Parade Start: 6:00pm
Location:
The route is Dundas Street from Egerton to Ridout Street (goes
west 2 miles), London, Ontario

Annual Maple Syrup Festival- Horne Farm- Hawkestone, ON
The
Hoof Beat Outriders Drill Team will be performing our new
routines and program for this coming season and we invite
everyone to come out to watch and have some fun with us!
Also,
for your enjoyment, we are having "The Rugby Boys"
band playing for you while you enjoy your pancakes & "sticky
sausage" with fresh maple syrup!
Make
sure to plan to purchase your supply of maple syrup for the
season as pricing will be reduced at the farm gate sales for
this special day only!
Bring
your family and friends to enjoy trail rides, pony rides for
the kids and the fun thrill of sap collection for your whole
family!
Great
music, good food, hearty laughter, amazing horses, lots of
fun and wonderful friends!! This is an event you don't want
to miss!!

Caledon
Canada Day Strawberry Festival
- Caledon, ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders were proud to be invited to perform for
the 2nd year in a row for the residents of Caledon and surrounding
areas.
The
Strawberry Festival is a wonderful event with many exciting
shows, music and things to do for the whole family to enjoy!
All the while, pancakes with loads of fresh strawberries and
whipped cream are served for everyone to enjoy! What could
be better?!!
We
had a wonderful time participating and performing in celebrating
Canada Day!

2010
Canadian Distance Riding Championships
- New Lowell, ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders entertained the audience at the Festival
of Endurance, Competitive Trail & Ride and Tie competitions
in New Lowell this year! We had a great time parading and bringing
in the competitors to the event as well as performing 3 drill
routines for the audience throughout the Opening Ceremonies!

WHOA
- Equi-Fest 2010
- Orangeville, ON |
This
event was so much fun again for us this year!
The
Hoof Beat Outriders Drill Team performed at the Lunch Break
and hosted 2 drilling clinics in this exciting event!
We
really enjoy this event ourselves, with the various clinics
we participate in with our horses such as reining, dressage,
jumping and more! Fun, fun, fun!!

Syrup Festival - Hawkestone,
Ontario |
2nd
Annual Maple Syrup Festival
The
Hoof Beat Outriders had fun performing for a wonderful public
audience at the Horne's Maple Sugar Bush!
We
rode 2 drill patterns, performed a vaulting routine, a gaited
horse demo, ran barrels and had a double down and back race!
There
was also
Pancakes
& 'Sticky Sausage' along with the The Rugby Boys band,
in the sugar bush! Yum!! Kids had pony rides through the sugar
bush after the performance and adults had some trail rides
too!
We
are looking forward to perform again next year for this fun,
special event of the Maple Syrup Festival!

| Orillia
Santa Claus Parade |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders Drill Team is very proud to announce that
our team won 1st Place in the Orillia Santa Claus Parade for
the Best Walking Group this year!!
Wow!!
What an honour for our team again this year!! Thank you so
much to the Parade Committee for recognizing us in this way.
We really appreciate it.
The
theme of the parade this year was "Christmas Tunes"
and the Hoof Beat Outriders went as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed
Reindeer"!
We
performed our parade routine and it was so much fun to ride
together for our final performance of 2009! We also had our
newest member of our vaulting team, Alysha Wilson, performing
her routine for the people of Orillia!
Our
mini-horse was Rudolph and all the other horses were dressed
as the reindeer team with our vaulting horse as the 'sleigh'.
We
had such a wonderful time and we had the audience clapping
and singing along with us throughout the ride!
What
a rush!! :)

London
Santa Claus Parade

The
Hoof Beat Outriders had so much fun riding for the London
Santa Claus Parade! We were very excited and proud to have
been specially invited to participate!
It
was a beautiful night parade and there was a 'record-breaking'
crowd of approximately 60,000 people stretched over 2.5 km
of streets in London. There were so many people in attendance,
clapping, cheering with us and for us, that we couldn't hear
each other in the drill patterns!
Darn, what a problem to have...LOL, we sure loved every minute
of it!!
Thank
you to the organizers of the London Santa Claus Parade for
taking care of us so well. We felt very appreciated! We have
been invited back for next years London Santa Claus Parade
as well and we are certainly looking forward to it!

Woodbridge
Fall Fair

The
Hoof Beat Outriders had an awesome time entertaining and performing
for 4 shows per day for the audiences of the Woodbridge Fall
Fair during the Thanksgiving weekend! Not a drop of rain throughout
the whole weekend!
We
were well recieved by the organizers and audiences of the
Woodbridge Fall Fair and are booked for next year as well!
Thank you to all the people involved who helped make this
event so fun for us too!

Drumbo
Fair

The
Hoof Beat Outriders had an exciting, fun and entertaining
weekend, performing with our drills, vaulting, roping and
other events 2 to 3 times per day for the audiences at the
Drumbo Fair. The Fair Board of the Drumbo Fair were all so
wonderful to work with! We really enjoyed the hospitality
and friendship offered by everyone!
We
enjoyed "Horsin' Around at the Drumbo Fair". We are looking
forward to next year!

Oro
Fair

The
Hoof Beat Outriders were proud to be performing for our 2nd
year at the Oro Fair for our local community! We saw so many
friends and had a great time!

8th
Annual Polo for Health
- Alliston, ON |
The
Rotary Club of Alliston & Toronto Polo Club host this
annual fundraiser for the Hospital Foundation in Alliston.
The
Hoof Beat Outriders had a wonderful time riding for the Opening
Ceremonies/Parade and being the headline entertainment for
the half time between Polo matches for this event. We had
great fun entertaining the audience with our various demonstrations
and drills!
A
special 'thank you' for the professionally run atmosphere
from the Alliston Rotary people and the event was a great
success!

| Wits
End FEI World Cup Eventing Qualifier - Rosemont, ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders were proud to be the half time show for
this exciting event!
The
morning thunderstorms gave way and the sun was hot when we
were performing. A beautiful day at Wits End!
This
was the only North American World Cup eventing qualifier in
Canada.

| Heritage
Day Antique Tractor Road Rally - Oro Fairgrounds - Oro Medonte

The
Hoof Beat Outriders had a great time performing for this terrific
event for the 2nd year in a row!
Heritage
Days is all about agriculture in the Oro-Medonte area. There
is a Tractor Rally, a Gala Dinner & Dance, exhibitors,
vendors, heavy horse pulls and many activities including the
Antique Tractor Pull at 1:00 pm.

Caledon
Canada Day Strawberry Festival
- Caledon, ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders proudly entertained for the day at the
Strawberry Festival on Canada Day in Caledon.
We
started the morning with a wonderful strawberry pancake breakfast
and that's when the fun all started!
We
performed for an hour each for 2 shows for the day and had
such a great time doing it! Our audiences were cheering, clapping
and whooping it up with us!
We
are very fortunate to have such wonderful venues to entertain
in. We are treated very well by the organizers and audiences
of Caledon events.

Pepsi
North American Cup Event
- Sudbury Downs
- Sudbury, ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders were honoured to be outriding and performing
at the Pepsi North American Cup Event at Sudbury Downs for
the evening harness races.
We
performed with our drills and vaulting prior to the start
of the racing evening. Then we charged as a team, for the
post-parades for each of the races, as well as a colour guard
for the winner of the main event race.
It was a very exciting night for everyone! The audience was
clapping, cheering and whooping along with us, every time
we charged by the Grandstands!
That's
the spirit we enjoy performing with!!
Our
thanks extends to everyone at Sudbury Downs, for sponsoring
our team stabling space at their barns, during our trip to
Sudbury at FinnFest. We were well taken care of and we appreciated
the generousity very much!

| FinnFest
2009 - Sudbury,
ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders had so much fun performing in the Opening
Ceremonies at Sudbury City Hall & Parading through the
streets of Sudbury as well as entertaining throughout each
day for 3 days for this fun event!
We
had a flat trailer tire on our way up to Sudbury and had to
ride our drill horses on the Hwy 400 to safety! The horses
are all so quiet that it was uneventful fun! The team all
had a great time, making the best out of the situation and
making some wonderful memories! We extend our thanks to Audrey
Walkinson, of Horseshoe Lake, for feeding our hungry team
a wonderful lunch, and also thanks to Alves Garage in Horseshoe
Lake for getting us on the road again so quickly!
We
didn't miss a beat!!

2009
Horse Friendship Festival

The
Hoof Beat Outriders were excited to be a part of the really
talented entertainment for this fun event and had a great
day performing a half hour show, plus be in the Closing Ceremonies
for the day!
What
a wonderful audience we had with us, clapping and whooping,
right along with us! It was so wonderful to have the audience
so excited. That really tells us we are continuing to do a
great job at involving our audience to enjoy themselves, just
like we do when we ride too! Pure joy for all of us!
It
featured: Peruvian Paso, Paso Fino, and other amazing horse
breeds, The Hoof
Beat Outriders Drill Team, Peruvian and international
food, music, folklore dancers and much more!

Caledon
Fair

Caledon, ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders were riding in the Opening Parade for
the Caledon Fair and entertaining with our drills, vaulting,
roping, barrel racing and other events in 2 rings throughout
the day!
Fred
helped us out with his awesome announcing skills and did a
wonderful job for us! Definitely welcome anytime to our other
venues! Terry
took care of sound for us and between Mary & Jeff, Clarence
and Rosemary, we were in great hands at every moment throughout
the day! We thank you all for the success of the day! Wow,
did we have fun too!!
We
had excellent weather and it was a terrific day to meet new
friends!
We
are looking forward to returning to perform for the Strawberry
Festival in Caledon on Canada Day! Yum!!

EQUI-FEST
2009
– Orangeville, ON |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders had a wonderful time performing for the
Equi-Fest organized by WHOA (Women Horse Owners Association).
Our
Drill Clinics were a great success with the graduates of our
clinics becoming the 1st "Equi-Fest Drill Team"
performing together at a canter in the closing ceremonies
for the day! What a great group of riders we had!!
We
are very pleased to be invited back for next year!

Rounds
Ranch - Gaited Horse Fun Show

The
Hoof Beat Outriders had so much fun performing for the audience
at the Rounds Ranch Gaited Horse Fun Show!
We
had 2 new members, Sarah & her mom Sandie, join us on
our drills and they both did so well for their very first
performance! If the smiles on our faces tells any kind of
story at all, you know we all had fun!
We
are looking forward to a wonderful 2009 season of performing!
A
big "Thank You" goes out to Rounds Ranch for organizing
this event for Gaited Horses! We all had a great time!

| Maple
Syrup Festival - Hawkestone,
Ontario |
The
Hoof Beat Outriders were thrilled to be performing for a wonderful
public audience at the Horne's Maple Sugar Bush!
We
rode 2 drill patterns, performed a vaulting routine, a roping
routine, gaited horse demo, ran barrels and had a double down
and back race! We really enjoyed ourselves and the terrific
feedback from the audience was fabulous!
There
was also a combined Birthday Party for two of our Outriders,
Alyssa & Michelle at
the Maple Sugar Camp afterwards. Pancakes
& 'Sticky Sausage' along with the Birthday Cake in the
sugar bush! Yum!! Kids had pony rides through the sugar bush
after the performance.
We
are looking forward to perform again next year for this fun,
special event of the Maple Syrup Festival!

| The
Royal Agricultural Winter Fair - Toronto, Ontario |
We
were very proud that our team, the Hoof
Beat Outriders, had been selected to be riding for the
Ontario
Equestrian Federation at the Royal
Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Ontario
We
performed 2-3 times per day from November 10-16, 2008 in the
"Spirit of the Horse" ring.
Our
team was very excited to perform our routines for our audiences
and enjoyed ourselves so much! We met so many wonderful people
and always enjoy meeting new people!! From this event, we
are now booking 2009 events all over Ontario! Thank you to
the OEF for providing us this wonderful venue!!

Musical Ride - Oro Fairgrounds |
We
performed a 1/2 hr routine over 2 days that included 2 exciting
drill presentations, a cutting horse demo, a vaulting demo and
a fun roping demo. We had great fun preparing and riding for
this event! What an opportunity and fun times! |

International
Plowing Match
Teeswater, Ontario
|
We
had a great time riding in the Opening Day Parade. Afterwards,
we performed a special 1 hr presentation in the Tundra Corral
and included our regular program, plus, barrel racing demo,
double poles racing and a gaited horse demo. We had so much
fun and we also enjoyed team penning after our presentation
with the next group of presenters! Our team really enjoyed
the opportunity to ride for the International Plowing Match
and we made new friends as well!

We were very pleased to be performing for the Barrie Fair this
year. We were lucky to have a beautiful day to perform and we
really enjoyed ourselves! This was the last year for the Barrie
Fair to be held in the location it was and we were there for
it! |

for the Orillia Fair. We were excited to be supporting our local
community in this special way! |

Fair |
We
were in the Opening Parade and performing a 1/2 hr presentation
during the Oro Fair. This is a local community fair that we
were excited to be participating in! We had a beautiful and
fun day! |

Shack - Team Event |
This
was so much fun for the members of our drill team as well as
our friends who attended! We had a blast!! Thanks to Michelle
organizing this event for us, Bekka was screaming in fear, most
of the time! Was so great! |
Somerset
Horse Show
Gravenhurst, ON |
We
are very honoured to have been invited to be performing with
our drill team, for the lunch break of the Somerset Farm Horse
Show.
There
was a great crowd of people there and we had a terrific day,
(without a drop of rain even though it was forecasted).

Santa Claus Parade |
We performed our parade routine and it was so much fun to
ride together for our final performance of 2008! We also had
our vaulting team showing what they have learned over the
past year as well as having a great time doing it too!
We
are very proud to announce that the Hoof Beat Outriders
won 2nd Place for the Best Walking Group in the Parade!!
Thank
you to the Orillia Parade Committee for honouring us in this
special way. We really appreciate this award as we know that
all the walking groups in the Parade have all worked as hard
as we did and all the entries deserve this acknowledgement
to making an enjoyable parade for the people of Orillia.
